1.   Muddy shallow water warms up faster than clear deep water.
2.   Use brighter color baits like orange, chartreuse, and yellows in muddy water.
3.   Remember to set the "Drag" on your fishing reel, it allows big fish to wear down and keeps them from breaking your line.
4.   Make every cast count, stay ready for the "Bite" at all times.
5.   Crickets and worms are best for catching bream in the spring "April".
6.   Change the line on your reel about every 3 months to lower the chance of breakage and keep them casting better.
